Our conversation, now, is half-recollected, I can only speak my side.
Then, you were that structure's architect, I was there for the ride
That took us over hills of deception....
At least as seen through your perceptions.
The accusations, now, are half-memorized, I can only recall yours.
Every last one has been totally neutralized, crawling on all fours
Back to wherever you happen to prowl....
Listen carefully to how loudly it howls.
The ecstasy, now, is half-commemorated, I'm sure you hold onto that.
Those moments were completely confiscated, I watched and stood pat
While you seized every morsel of lust....
I yawned and snickered while you fussed.
The happiness, now, is half-forgotten, I never thought it existed.
This child you claim to have begotten, I must of totally dismissed it
Because all I ever met was bullyrag....
After that, I packed up my travel bag.
The bitterness, now, is half-remembered, I can only taste mine.
Was it only this last December that you dropped me a line
Telling me you'd be gone for good....
I never imagined that you would.
