The Chase Is On
Where can you run
Where can you hide
When you’re being chased from the inside
The chase is on
The chase is on
Who can you find
To take the blame
When the wanted poster bears your name
The chase is on
The chase is on
The source of your depression
Is your wanton indiscretion
And it only makes you feel like a fool
It is possible to save face
To end this fruitless chase
And to come away shining like a jewel
What can you confide
What can you confess
When you’re running lost in the wilderness
The chase is on
The chase is on
Who can you trust
To hear you out
When no one else knows what this is about
The chase is on
The chase is on
The reason for your attitude
Is your silly choice of solitude
And it has left you out there all alone
If you decide to emerge
You’ll feel such a surge
And, who knows, the answer might be shown
